ALL NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL PERSONNEL ARE:

 

 

  • Required to check in with the NPS Travel Office.

  • Required to complete, and remain current with, all mandatory training requirements (see below).

  • Required to use a Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) for all TDY travel expenses.

  • Required to split disburse all undisputed travel card charges for each trip in DTS.

  • Required to update GTCC and DTS account information upon arrival and as needed.

  • Required to notify the Travel Office and Security Manager's Office of any foreign travel.

  • Required to submit travel vouchers within five working days of returning from TDY.

To complete the mandatory training:

  1. Log in to Travel Explorer (Trax) at https://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/Passport.  If you do not have an account, click the Register for a New Account button.

  2. From the Trax homepage, click the Training icon on the top menu bar.

  3. Click the Available/Recommended Training tab to view the list of available training courses. Be sure that View All is selected and not Only View Recommended.

  4. Click the Launch button to begin the required training.
