Assignments and Grading | The goal of the grading policy is to assess your performance as it pertains to the knowledge, skills and attitudes of the course. Your grade in the course will be determined by your performance on the following assignments:
COLLABORATION: Students are encouraged to collaborate responsibly to help each other understand the concepts and improve their work. In particular, students may work together on homework. However, it is important that the written work submitted for be the student’s own work. If you have any questions on appropriate collaboration, please ask. LATE WORK: Credit for work submitted past the announced deadline will be reduced by 10% per day (or portion of a day) up to 50%. Work will not be accepted more than 5 days late. Deadline extensions will not be granted within 24 hours of assignment deadlines without extenuating circumstances. All late work must include clear indication of when the assignment was submitted. | ||||||||||||
